When I saw the pictures of Jacques Cartier, I feel he is a power man.I can find some information from these pictures.In the first picture, we can see he a ship, so I knew he is a navigator and he did an excellent job for Canada.In the second picture,he seems like a bravery people who has power. It also can tell us he is an important person of Canada just like a hero.

Jacques Cartier was a French explorer who claimed what is now Canada for France. He was the first European to describe and map[1] the Gulf of Saint Lawrence and the shores of the Saint Lawrence River, which he named "The Country of Canadas", after the Iroquois names for the two big settlements he saw at Stadacona (Quebec City) and at Hochelaga (Montreal Island).

Jacques Cartier was born in St. Malo (France) in 1491. Not much is known of his life before 1534, when he departed on his first voyage. He was looking for a passage through or around North America to East Asia, as some had done before him, and many would after him.

He was a French explorer who claimed what is now Canada for France. He is the first European to travel inland in North America. He was sent to Canada in1540.
The king of France sent him.Because Cartier is believed to have accompanied da Verrazzano on this expedition, which explored the coast from South Carolina to Nova Scotia, and islands such as Newfoundland; on another voyage they went to Brazil. Le Veneur cited these voyages to Newfoundland and Brazil as proof of Cartier's ability to "lead ships to the discovery of new lands in the New World".

6.First Nations people were the original people who lived in Canada before the Europeans came. Imagine how you would feel seeing the Europeans for the first time. What would you think? What would you say? What would you do?
I would think who are them?why they go to here?
I would say to them something about the reason of why they come to here and let them leave.
I would want them leave because I don't think they want have a trip at here.
If they don't leave,I can let them to sleep one night,but the second day,they should go.
I will show them my politely and invite them have a meal.
Although I don't want them live here,but I should show them friendly.

At the first time,Jacques Cartier found Canada in his first voyage.He ordered some people to trade with the Canadians.The second time, he with his subordinate went to there again,but they took the leader's sons to France.They also wrote France in Canadian land .The leader of Canada was very angry.When Jacques Cartier came to Canada in third times he took the two boys back.They told their father the experence to France.

Jacques Cartier brought Donnaconna and Donnaconna'son to France.Jacques Cartier have a cheat with them and made a promise with them.Jacques Cartier wanted the Donnaconna to say something about the benefits about Canada and made the king of the France trust him go Canada again.The king of France didn't agree with then.But he didn't keep his promise.In the end,they didn't go there again.Donnaconna was died after 4 years.

Scurvy is nothing more than a serious deficiency of vitamin C and leads to the formation of livid spots on the skin, spongy gums and bleeding from almost all mucous membranes. Vitamin C is essential for the body to manufacture collagen, the connective tissue that helps form healthy bones, teeth, and capillaries, and promotes wound healing.
The spots are most abundant on the thighs and legs, and a person with the ailment looks pale, feels depressed, and is partially immobilized. it's easily corrected with supplements . There are two forms of scurvy: adult and infantile.
It is characterized by bleeding under the skin, and extreme weakness.

His son was brought by Jacques Cartier.The people who is French they set a cross of the seashore and they didn't asked Donnaconna.Donnaconna at last agreed that they could be taken, under the condition that they return with European benefits to trade.
10. How would you feel if you were Donnaconna or the Iroquois people? Would you be friends with the French after this experience?

If I am Donnaconna,I will feel angry.I will hate the French people very much because they not only threat my land, but also hurt me.They're too violent.I can't be friend with them.They have no heart,that's boring.The French people couldn't kidnapped Chief my two sons to get a permit.I don't want to friends with them.
